Prolactin
In men, prolactin is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland, a small gland located at the base of the brain. While it is often more commonly associated with women due to its role in pregnancy and breastfeeding, prolactin also plays important functions in men. It plays a role in maintaining the health of the testicular cells and supporting the overall process of sperm development.
Estrogen contributes to bone health in both men and women. In men, it helps maintain bone density and may play a role in preventing osteoporosis. Estrogen, in balance with other hormones, can influence libido (sexual drive) and erectile function in men.

Testosterone
Testosterone is a key male sex hormone, and it plays a crucial role in various aspects of men’s health. It is responsible for the development and maintenance of male reproductive tissues and characteristics. Testosterone is a key factor in libido (sexual desire) and overall sexual function in men. It influences arousal and the maintenance of erectile function.
Testosterone can influence mood and energy levels. Low testosterone levels may be associated with fatigue, decreased motivation, and changes in mood. Testosterone may play a role in cognitive function, including spatial abilities, mood, and memory.
